2019-08-26

The Laboratory for the Study of Primary Sources and the Department of History (Ural Federal University, Yekaterinburg, Russia) have organised an international conference, “Concepts of Conflict and Concord in Russian and European History”.

The conference is part of a research project supported by the Russian Science Foundation. The papers will examine the way in which ideas surrounding conflict and concord shaped not only philosophical discourse in the Russian Empire and Soviet Union, but also political action and the social sphere.

We invite all those interested in the theme of the conference to participate in the discussion of papers. The conference will be held on 3–4 September 2019 in room 507 on Turgenev Str., 4.
